Why Accessibility Matters at TK Maxx Presents Lytham Festival.
Better Accessibility = Better Experiences for Everyone
At TK Maxx Presents Lytham Festival, we believe live music should be for everyone. That’s why we’ve introduced a wide range of inclusive and accessible features—not just to meet needs, but to enhance the overall festival experience for all.
At TK Maxx Presents Lytham Festival we are committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all our attendees.
We are extremely proud that TK Maxx Presents Lytham Festival has been awarded the silver level of Attitude is Everything.
The Attitude Is Everything Silver Award recognises the festival’s commitment to providing the best possible experience and understanding the potential access requirements of Deaf, disabled, neurodivergent and people with health conditions.
TK Maxx Presents Lytham Festival has a dedicated accessibility team working all year round to assist customers with accessibility requirements.
Please note that our accessible facilities are unable to cater for people with temporary impairments. This is considered to be anything that affects an individual for less than 12 months such as broken bones, healing injuries or pregnant women.
Here’s how we’re making that happen—and why it truly benefits festival goers:
🎶 Accessible Viewing = Front-Row Feeling for All
Our double-raised viewing platform provides an unobstructed, elevated view of the main stage—ensuring fans with accessibility requirements can enjoy headline acts in comfort and without obstruction.
🧏♀️ BSL for Every Show, Visible Anywhere
We offer British Sign Language (BSL) interpretation at every performance, with a live interpreter positioned at the side of the stage. A screen displaying the interpreter feed is also available with visibility on the viewing platform—so you’ll never miss a lyric, wherever you are.
🚽 Changing Facilities that Prioritise Dignity
Thanks to our partnership with RevoLOOTion, we provide an on-site changing unit with a toilet, electric hoist, and height-adjustable changing table—ensuring everyone can access facilities that match their needs with privacy, comfort, and respect.
🍻 Lowered Bars & Large Print Menus
We’ve designed service points to be accessible—with lowered bars, large print menus, and reduced queuing times for accessible ticket holders.
🥂 On-Platform Drink Service
No need to miss a moment—dedicated drink service is available directly on the accessible viewing platform.
🚗 Smooth Arrival & Departure
From dedicated parking to a separate accessible entrance, we’ve made getting to and from the festival site easy and efficient.
🔊 Hearing Loops
Available at key locations including the box office, and main bar, these systems improve sound clarity for hearing aid users.
👩💼 On-Site Accessibility Management
Our Accessibility Area is managed by Accessible Events, specialists in large-scale event access. An Accessibility Manager will be on-site throughout, ready to assist with any questions or needs.
🗺️ Accessibility Packs & Maps
Before the festival, attendees will recieve an Accessibility Pack including detailed arrival info, accessible routes, site distances, and facilities—so you can plan your festival your way.
🔌 Wheelchair Charging Stations
Running low on battery? We've got you. Designated charging points for wheelchairs ensure mobility isn’t interrupted.
🎟️ These features aren’t extras—they’re essentials. They allow more people to feel safe, seen, and included in the magic of live music. By investing in accessibility, we’re making sure that everyone gets the festival experience they deserve.
