The song topped five radio formats and earned him a spot in Spotify’s “Billions Club.” With over 12 billion streams across his catalogue, Swims continues to cement his place as one of music’s most powerful voices.

His breakout success earned him a 2025 Grammy nomination for Best New Artist and three 2025 BET Award nominations, including Best New Artist, Best Collaboration, and Best Male R&B/Pop Artist. Swims found himself on the path toward self-forgiveness when he began writing his debut album I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 1) via Warner Records. Though he’s released music and toured the world since making his debut in 2019, the 32-year-old artist has spent much of the last four years crafting an album that would tell this story—his story—to the people who were ready to receive it.
